Description

Robot Software Engineer We are looking for talented and motivated software engineers to help build the next generation of assistive devices for disabled individuals.The ideal candidate should be experienced with robotics and interested in the project. Hours are flexible. This can be a full or part time contract position. Exceptional candidates will be considered for future work, upon successful completion of the project. We are looking to start in late september / early november, but will likely plan the work with you sooner.

Position: contract Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Required Experience BS in computer science or similar field Proficient with Ubuntu Proficient with Windows Strong Knowledge of Python

2+ years programming robotic systems Must work well independently as well as with others Self-Starter Organized, able to meet or exceed deadlines

Preferred Experience PhD or MS in robotics or sImilar field 4+ years of relevant experience Proficient in MATLAB Knowledge of kinematics Experience integrating, debugging, and tuning servo controls Knowledge of mechatronic systems ability to work with physical hardware databases Github Amazing Knowledge machine learning
